Gus Gymnopoulos has been part of Canadian basketball for the better part of two decades. He is the Founder and Director of Dynamic Basketball Development Academy where he combines his role as a teacher and coach to build the next generation of student athletes. During the past 16 years teaching and coaching at Vaughan Secondary School, Gus captured back to back provincial championships and continued to build the program into one of the most elite Prep programs in the country. 

Gus has supported numerous student-athletes to continue their basketball journey at various U Sports and NCAA post-secondary institutions. Several of the players that Gus coached are now in the NBA. Some of his former players include Andrew Wiggins, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, and Andrew Nembhard. Gus was a head coach in the inaugural Biosteel All-Canadian Game in 2015.

Pasha Bains is born and raised in Richmond, B.C. and attended William Cook Elementary. Pasha is the Founder of DRIVE Basketball Inc. He has many years of experience as an athlete and coach in basketball and overall physical fitness and athletics.

Dan Becker played high school ball for Fort Richmond Collegiate and then went on to play NCAA Division I basketball at the University of Colorado. After graduation, Dan played for 12 years all over the globe. Currently, Dan is the Head Coach of the Canada Basketball Centre for Performance Program. He is also the U17 male Provincial Team Head Coach, High Performance Coach for Basketball Manitoba, and a Learning Facilitator in the new NCCP coaching education program.

Wesley Brown is a Canadian basketball scout. He runs the Canadian Scouting Service "The Monday Morning Scouting Report". A Law School graduate, Wesley has coached Canadian University Basketball and scouted for the Texas Legends of the NBA G-league.

Ryan is the Operations Manager at Basketball Nova Scotia. He has coached with the Dalhousie Tigers, Loyalist Lancers, and Basketball Nova Scotia’s U17 and U15 Provincial Programs. Additionally, he was an analyst for the Halifax Rainmen of NBL Canada. Ryan has a lot experience teaching fundamental skills and game concepts. Ryan is also a certified FUNdamentals Learning Facilitator and Jr. NBA Basketball Ambassador.

Often referred to as Captain Canada, Ebanks has been an integral promoter, influencer and personality while increasing & strengthening awareness of Canadian basketball from the Grassroots level to the Pros. Ebanks' diverse educational background and work experience which includes the financial sector as well as his Broadcasting-Radio & Television credentials, has allowed him to establish On Point as a leading Canadian basketball media, marketing and lifestyle brand.

Patrick is from Toronto, Ontario, where he played for CIA Bounce and played under Tony McIntyre. He is a former student and player at Humber College. Upon graduating he worked with SD Training basketball program where he ran their youth skill development programs. Currently he is a Lead Skill Development Coach at Athlete Institute Basketball Academy and Head Coach of Athlete Institute Black in the OSBA.

Tony House was born and raised in Ottawa and a name synonymous with basketball in the National Capital region as a player, coach and builder. Tony recently founded Canada Topflight Academy (CTA) which currently has (4) teams in its program including JR Boys, SR Boys Red, SR Women and SR Mens Gold teams. The SR Gold program has won 2 of 3 National Preparatory Association (NPA) Championships and is seen as one of the premier prep programs in Canada. As a builder Tony is always looking to grow the game in this country, Tony sits as President of the Board of the NPA and founded both the National Junior Circuit (NJC) and National Senior Circuit (NSC). The NJC and NSC were his brainchild, both of these platforms help showcase the outstanding HS talent in this country. 

Carmelo Mallia (Scarborough, ON) has been with the Ontario Basketball Association (OBA) in several capacities over the past ten years. Currently, he is the Manager of High Performance overseeing the implementation and execution of the strategic plan and vision for the Centre for Performance (CP), Targeted Athlete Strategy (TAS), Team Ontario (TO) and Quest for Gold - Ontario Athlete Assistance Program (QFG-OAAP).

He has also served as the Field of Play Supervisor (Basketball Training Courts) for the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games, as well as a Selection Committee Member for the 2015 BioSteel All-Canadian Basketball Game. Most recently, he is the acting Commissioner of the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association (OSBA), Ontario's premier prep high school basketball league.

As a pioneer of elite amateur basketball in Canada dating back to 1989, Ro has observed 4 decades of basketball and it's growth in Canada. As the founder of Grassroots Elite Canada, as well as the first Prep School in Ontario, TAPS, Ro has been a part of the basketball evolution in Canada. Having helped develop over 462 NCAA D1 and 13 NBA players, Ro has impacted numerous players lives and careers. Grassroots Elite Canada U17 Elite team made history in 2008 when they were the first and only team to be ranked #1 in the US and win the biggest AAU event of the year. It showed Canada had pros, not just good players. Going into his fourth year at Crestwood Prep, Ro has won the NPA Championship in 2019 and is now looking to do the same in the OSBA. Ro won the Vigor Lifetime Achievement Award, among many other awards and distinctions. Ro has been given the opportunity to personally work with and develop Super Phenom 6'6" 2023 Elijah Fisher, whom many have said could have the most decorated high school career in Canadian history, having started so young and doing it from Canada.

Igor Rwigema has an expertise in elite player development. Through the years his professionalism, his passion and dedication for basketball has allowed him to work and help more than a hundred kids earn scholarships to play at the highest level in America. Igor is known for his talent evaluation skills and eye for talent. He has won numerous championships at all level as a player and as a coach. He is the Founder and Director of QC United Sports Club and Thetford Basketball Academy and newly Dynasty Sports Institute in Montreal. Those programs have developed the top talent in the province of Quebec in the last decade. Two alumni have signed contract in the NBA and G League: Christopher Boucher (Toronto Raptors) and Tidjane Keita (Phoenix Suns, Northern Arizona Suns).

Jason Thom is in his second season as the Commissioner of the National Preparatory Association, Canada's national prep basketball league which is in its fourth season of operation. He is also a basketball analyst for both the Raptors 905 and the Canadian Elite Basketball League.  Previously, he spent almost two decades covering basketball at the high school, collegiate and professional levels as a reporter and producer at both The Score Television Network and Rogers Sportsnet. 

Tyrell is a Coach at St. Francis Xavier University. He is the former Head Coach & Director of Basketball Operations at TRC Academy. In 2018 and 2019 Tyrell won back to back OSBA Championships with TRC. In 2019, Tyrell was named OSBA Coach of the Year. Tyrell is a former professional basketball player and certified educator.

Hailing from Toronto, Shane James is the Co-Director of Under Armour Canada Elite and the Founder of Canadian Youth Basketball League. He is an educator at Thornlea S.S. and played college basketball at Loyola University Maryland, where he graduated in 2007.

Hailing from Brampton, Ontario, Michael Meeks has invested his life in the game of basketball. He recently returned from coaching in Germany following a 15-year professional career and is now the Manager of Youth Development for Canada Basketball. A national team vet, the 6’9 Power Forward/Centre represented Canada in the 2000 Summer Olympics and competed in the 1998 and 2002 World Championships. In 2007, he was inducted into the Canisius College Hall of Fame, a decade after leading his team to the NCAA Tournament and finishing his fourth year as the school's 2nd all-time scorer and rebounder.

Dan Vanhooren joined the Dinos in May 2000 and is the seventh men’s basketball head coach at the University of Calgary. Since he took over the program, Vanhooren’s Dinos have made a steady climb into elite status in U Sports basketball. In just four years, he took a program that had not enjoyed a winning season in nearly a decade all the way to the conference title and within two points of the national final in 2004. It was Calgary’s first Canada West championship since 1993, and their first-round victory at the Final 8 in Halifax was the Dinos’ first national quarterfinal win in 38 years. The two-point semifinal loss came at the hands of the Carleton Ravens, who went on to win the U Sports title. In 2008, Dan coached the Dinos to their best conference record since 1976 (18-4) and played host to the Canada West Final Four in front of a sold-out Jack Simpson Gym. Eight years later, the Dinos won their sixth Canada West Championship and went on to compete in the national finals for the first time since 1966 against the Carleton Ravens. The Dinos finished with a silver medal.
