Pasha Bains is born and raised in Richmond, B.C. and attended William Cook Elementary. Pasha is the Founder of DRIVE Basketball Inc. He has many years of experience as an athlete and coach in basketball and overall physical fitness and athletics.

DAN BECKER

BASKETBALL MANITOBA

Dan Becker played high school ball for Fort Richmond Collegiate and then went on to play NCAA Division 1 basketball at the University of Colorado. After graduation, Dan played for 12 years all over the globe. Currently, Dan is the Head Coach of the Canada Basketball Centre for Performance Program. He is also the 17U male Provincial Team head coach, High Performance Coach for Basketball Manitoba, and a Learning Facilitator in the new NCCP coaching education program.

WES BROWN

MONDAY MORNING SCOUTING REPORT

Wesley Brown is a Canadian basketball scout. He runs the Canadian Scouting Service "The Monday Morning Scouting Report." A Law School graduate, Wesley has coached Canadian University Basketball and scouted for the Texas Legends of the NBA G-league.

RYAN DICKISON

BASKETBALL NOVA SCOTIA

Ryan is the Operations Manager at Basketball Nova Scotia. He has coached with the Dalhousie Tigers, Loyalist Lancers, and Basketball Nova Scotia’s 17U and 15U Provincial Programs. Additionally, he was an analyst for the Halifax Rainmen of NBL Canada. Ryan has a lot experience teaching fundamental skills and game concepts. Ryan is also a certified FUNdamentals Learning Facilitator and Steve Nash Youth Basketball Ambassador.

GREG FRANCIS

HEAD COACH, UOIT

Francis is currently Head Coach at UOIT. After four years as Senior Men’s National Team Assistant Coach, Greg Francis served as Manager of Men's High Performance at Canada Basketball (2015-2018). During his playing and coaching tenure with Team Canada, Francis played in the 2000 Olympics while becoming the Head Coach of the National Elite Development Academy from 2007 to 2009 and Junior Men’s National Team from 2005-2011.

SHANE JAMES

UNDER ARMOUR CANADA ELITE / THORNLEA SS PREP

From Toronto, ON, Shane James is the co-director of Under Armour Canada Elite and the founder of Canadian Youth Basketball League. He is an educator at Thornlea S.S. and played college basketball at Loyola University Maryland, where he graduated in 2007.

MICHAEL MEEKS

CANADA BASKETBALL

Hailing from Brampton, Ontario, Michael Meeks has invested his life in the game of basketball. He recently returned from coaching in Germany following a 15-year professional career and is now the Manager of Youth Development for Canada Basketball. A national team vet, the 6’9 power forward/centre represented Canada in the 2000 Summer Olympics and competed in the 1998 and 2002 World Championships. In 2007, he was inducted into the Canisius College Hall of Fame, a decade after leading his team to the NCAA Tournament and finishing his fourth-year as the school's 2nd all-time scorer and rebounder.

IGOR RWIGEMA

THETFORD BASKETBALL ACADEMY , QUEBEC

Igor Rwigema has an expertise in elite players development. Through the years his professionalism, his passion and dedication for basketball has allowed him to work with and help more than a hundred kids to play at the highest level in America. Igor Rwigema is knowned for his talent evaluation skills and eye for talent. He has won numerous championships at all level as a player and as a coach. He is the founder and director of QC United Sports Club and Thetford Basketball Academy. Those programs have developed the top talent in the province of Quebec in the last decade. Two alumni have signed contract in the NBA and Gleague. Christopher Boucher (Toronto Raptors), Tidjane Keita (Phoenix Suns, Northern Arizona Suns). Igor also serves as a talent evaluator for the Oklahoma City Thunder and has a consultant for the Congolese Basketball Federation.

SEAN TYSON

SASKATOON BASKETBALL ACADEMY, SASKATCHEWAN

Sean is Head Coach and Director of Basketball Operations at Saskatoon Basketball Academy. Tyson played at Clemson University where he won an ACC championship and appeared in 3 NCAA tournaments in 4 years at the school. A first round 10th pick of the CBA Grand Rapids Hoops in 1991, Sean began his career working for the organization as a player development coach in 2002. He then moved on to the Great Lakes Storm (CBA) where he became the video coordinator and assistant coach for 2 seasons. He became the interim head coach in the 2004 season. In 2004-05 he was the assistant coach at Mercyhurst College. In 2015 he led Team Saskatchewan to a Bronze Medal finish at the Western Canada Summer Games. Sean was on the coaching staff at the U16 and U18 Canada National Assessment camps in 2018-19. He also serves as Technical Director for one of Saskatchewan's top basketball clubs Greenwave United.
